OUR STORY
Legacy Hats was created to provide quality, approachable and personalized hats while also fulfilling the desire of owner, Karissa Monroe, to leave a legacy of care and compassion for those in need.
We honor that desire by equipping you to easily "leave your legacy" with a donation for every hat purchased to a community partner serving the most vulnerable amongst us. This $25 donation is deducted from Legacy Hats' bottom line and is given to the charity of your choice.

How To Shop For Your Legacy Hat
Step 1: Find Your Hat Size
HOW TO MEASURE
1. Using a soft measuring tape, measure the circumference (in centimeters) of your head with the tape placed about 1 centimeter above your eyebrows and ears. If you don't have a soft measuring tape use string and mark the length, then measure the string. (Be sure not to tighten too much or so loosely that a gust of wind could blow your hat off.)
2. Measure twice or until you get the same measurement two times in a row. If you get a number in between two measurements, size up for comfort. Sizing strips to place behind the sweatband are provided complimentary with all of our hats for a perfect fit.
3. Convert the measurement to determine your hat size.
Conversions:
52 cm = 6 1/2 (Special order size)
53 cm = 6 5/8 (Special order size)
54 cm = 6 3/4 (Small)
55cm = 6 7/8 (Small)
56 cm = 7 (Medium)
57cm = 7 1/8 (Medium)
58cm = 7 1/4 (Large)
59cm = 7 3/8 (Large)
60cm = 7 1/2 (Special order size)
61cm = 7 5/8 (Special order size)
62 cm = 7 3/4 (Special order size)

1. Have fun browsing our site to get an idea of which hat styles you prefer.
2. Shop our signature styles for personalized options and a few grab-and-go styles, or spend some time building a fully custom hat of your own from bottom to top.
3. Select which charity partner speaks to your heart. You will select a partner and add it to your cart when you place your order. For every hat purchased, $25 will be taken from Legacy Hats' bottom line and a donation will be made on your behalf. There is no additional fee to "leave your legacy"!
